Work
My love for hospitality blossomed when I joined Penn State Hospitality Services during my first year at Penn State. While earning a bachelor of science in hospitality management, I oversaw all food and beverage catering in the suites of Beaver Stadium. Following graduation, I relocated to Austin, Texas, where I worked in operations and sales at JW Marriott Austin and Hyatt Regency Austin, respectively. Fall Saturdays were spent working in the suites at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium, home of the Texas Longhorns. Most recently, I worked for Vacasa in West Palm Beach, Florida, and was responsible for opening the company’s newest market and ultimately managing all operational aspects of 65 short-term vacation rentals ($17M in assets). Also, I worked for other well-recognized brands, including Sprinklr, ClubCorp, The Escape Game and H-E-B.
Life
If you couldn’t tell, I went to and love Penn State. I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and attended my first Penn State football game at six. Since then, Saturdays have always been spent cheering on my beloved Nittany Lions with friends, family, or the local alumni association. Currently, I live in West Palm Beach, Florida, with my fiance, Tyler, our cat, Marge, and adorable lab-pointer-boxer-terrier mix, Beans. My weekends are spent catching sun rays on Singer Island, paddle boarding to Riviera Beach’s Peanut Island, or taking Beans for walks on the beach with my better half. When out of the sun, I love an evening playing board games like Ticket to Ride, catching a show at the theatre where Tyler works, or racing friends in Nintendo’s Mario Kart. And in my eyes, nothing is better than when my parents, Don and Tina, or siblings, Brandon and Heather, come to visit our beach-side paradise.
