Work
As a high school senior, I completed a shadow project at the former Cleveland Wyndham Hotel. In one week, I found my passion. That experience was my stepping stone into the hospitality industry. After completing a few semesters at Muskingum University, I was accepted into the Disney College Program, culminating in a career that spanned a decade.
At Disney, I worked in one theme park, both waterparks, 15 resorts and the Disney Reservation Center. I graduated from the Disney Emerging Leaders program and spent several years as a Guest Experience Manager, leading teams of front-line Cast Members.
I returned home to Ohio in 2017 and began working with a consulting firm specializing in on-site dining services. I supported projects that included requests for proposals, quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
Life
I, my husband, Tony, and three boys [plus dog Ursula and cat Peanut] live in the Cleveland suburbs. The kids keep us very busy, running from activity to activity. When we aren’t cheering our boys from the sidelines, we are probably cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, dining at a local hotspot, or enjoying polka and pizza on our patio. We enjoy traveling and are fond of Florida’s beaches and West Virginia’s mountains. We occasionally make it to Slovenia, our favorite country. We are fortunate to live near both sets of parents and we love spending time with them.
With what’s left of my free time, I volunteer as the board president of our local youth baseball league and belong to our school’s parent association and our parish’s festival committee.
